NRG CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES
About NRG:
NRG (Energy) is our worship service for kids in grades K-6. We teach them all about their best friend, Jesus, through exciting, age appropriate Bible teaching, energetic worship, games, videos, and hands-on activities. The adventure starts at 10:30 every Sunday morning with a visit to our check-in station, where your child will be given a name tag labeled with their name, grade, any allergies and the names of any adults authorized to pick them up. After check-in, your child enters our children’s worship area and the fun begins!
NRG also hosts several yearly events. In the spring, we have our Easter Eggstravaganza – this is a fun, carnival-like event with face painting, inflatables, games, prizes and egg hunts. During the summer, we host a 5-day Vacation Bible School with a different theme each year. We also take the NRG kids to camp in the summer. When winter rolls around, we give the kids an opportunity to use their God-given talents in our Christmas play.

Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) is an exciting way to help kids hide God’s Word in their hearts! Kids work together in teams to learn and understand questions about the Bible and then meet with teams from other churches once per month for a fun quizzing match. There are twenty questions in a match, with two teams of quizzers trying to beat each other to the buzzers to get the first shot at the answers. Kids in grades K-6 are eligible to compete.
